If you want do some effects to it, you have to drop an effect onto the png from the left side first. Click on EFFECTS on the left side of the page.and drag it onto the png. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Exposure treats the footage just the same as an iso level would. This explains at around the 10 min mark. If you’ve generated optimized media or proxies, it defaults to whatever you’d selected at the time of generating those. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. Yea you’re right. I tried unselecting the GPU and it is still greyed out, leading Davinci to say that I need to select at least 1 GPU before closing preferences. I am on the free version. You can chek it reimporting the still to DVR, then right click on clip attributes on the source image on the media pool, and change data levels to "video", then "full"..
