2024 Davinci resolve grab still greyed out

To add to Rohit's point, DaVinci Resolve will continue to read non-official MP4 files from your recorder, camera or application. The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. The change between Resolve 17 and 18 is cosmetic.. J58iqgtfm23

I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Exposure treats the footage just the same as an iso level would. This explains at around the 10 min mark. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers. After Clearing the IN/OUT markers, make sure to delete any jobs in the render queue and re-add them. I tried unselecting the GPU and it is still greyed out, leading Davinci to say that I need to select at least 1 GPU before closing preferences. I am on the free version. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen. Ok Davinci Resolve 16.2.8 (free version) works ok on my PC. It's only Davinci Resolve 17.2.1 (free version) has the problems same as yours (stated above), on my PC. Hm, ok. How do you get a slightly earlier version of Davinci 17 free version btw? .
